Education
BOAG continues to be an active participant and partner in course delivery developed by Clayton State College, through an agreement with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
However, BOAG is currently in the developing stage in bringing a comprehensive education strategy plan to provide training to Georgia's code officials. This will aid the development of a consistent plan for education and course delivery provided by our Association.
Certification
Prior to introducing Certification, the development of code official's skills and the gauging of practical experience has been difficult initiatives to define and appreciate.
